- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆10/03/2014 0300am my woman and I go inside to heat up some leftovers we had and to buy some refreshments after traveling for 10 hrs. I was approached by the cashier in seconds of turning on the microwave, then I was told we couldn't put our food in the microwave to warm up because it's against city and state health laws and she didn't want to get in any trouble and that we had to leave. Never got her name. And I'm wondering if this was because of my skin color, but the thing is, we weren't the only people there. I have never heard of this practice nationwide. I drove to the bigger Kangaroo Express in Gulfport Mississippi and questioned if this was common practice... Will never go there again but will continue to make complaints about how the staff treats people of color at 0300 am. Especially at this facility.By Nathaniel Coleman, August 28, 2017
